On April 23, 2025, the XV3 vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicle independently developed by Xunlong Aviation was officially launched and successfully completed the first round of full-system tests at the Xunlong Aviation training ground.

The XV3 unmanned aerial vehicle adopts a composite wing + quadrotor vertical take-off and landing technology, featuring all-terrain take-off and landing and long-endurance operation, which can meet the needs of multiple scenarios such as inspection and mapping. During the test, the unmanned aerial vehicle completed subjects such as high-altitude fixed-point hovering and beyond-visual-range flight, and all performance indicators met the standards.

The success of this test marks an important step forward for Xunlong Aviation in the research and development of low-altitude general aviation equipment. Subsequently, the team will advance the preparations for airworthiness certification and mass production.
